Shamardal filly on offer!

Please find details below on a lovely Shamardal filly on offer.

The filly is by Shamardal who is one of the best performs stallions in Australasia with a stakes winners to runners ratio of 9.1% this places Shamardal among the most elite stallions in the country. At Stud Shamardal has produced top class fillies FAINT PERFUME (VRC Oaks-G1, STC Vinery Stud Stakes-G1), NO EVIDENCE NEEDED (VRC Let's Elope Stakes-G2), MARQUARDT (AJC Nivison Handicap-LR), HAPPY HIPPY (AJC James HB Carr Stakes-LR) and PREMARDAL (WATC Jungle Dawn Classic-LR) as well as stallions such as LOPE DE VEGA (Chantilly Prix du Jockey Club-G1), CAPTAIN SONADOR (AJC Epsom Handicap-G1) and SHAMOLINE WARRIOR (MRC Norman Robinson Stakes-G3).

This filly is out of a young mare named Meilleure Amie who is by the leading stallion Choisir (sire of Starspangledbanner) and from the family of INNOCENT KING (AJC Derby-G1, STC Rosehill Guineas-G1), ROYAL SNACK (VATC Sandown Cup-G2), SNIPPETS' CROWN (QTC CE McDougall Stakes-LR), UNEARTHLY (AJC Flight Stakes-G1) and VIKING HERO (MRC Eclipse Stakes-G3).

Mick Price had this to say about the filly “…Shamardal is one of those rare stallions that upgrades his mares. I have been chasing the right type of Shamardal yearling for a while now and have finally secured one. Close to 10% of Shamardal starters win black type which is a sign that he is a great stallion. This filly reminds me of Gallica in that she has that male quality feel. She looks like a tough colt and we think that is always a good sign in a filly. She has superb bone and strong feet and is a well muscled filly. We feel this filly will be a later 2yo and then be aimed at as a spring three year old at the Classic Races before heading to Sydney in the Autumn of her three year old career…”
